Testing and Inspections

Testing and Inspections

Effective testing is a robust way of preventative maintenance, faults can be identified in the early stages and rectified before they develop into more serious problems thus saving on cost and avoiding more serious dangers.

As we inspect distribution boards and switchgear we ensure sound electrical connection, however over time and with continual usage electrical connections can work loose and cause faults.

After a thorough visual inspection we use further industry leading electrical testing procedures  to help identify potential problems. Every electrical circuit we test is subjected to comprehensive electrical testing to verify it is adequate to protect the end user from electrocution and to verify it disconnects under fault conditions.

If we identify areas which require attention, we will not only advise on a high quality solution but can implement a full plan to rectify any remedial work giving you total piece of mind.

Periodic Inspection Reports

Dependant upon the usage of a property/building it is imperative that periodic testing of any electrical installation is carried out. The purpose of periodic testing is to ensure compliance with BS7671. In most cases it is used as a way of preventing faults.

Our main areas of expertise are to help ensure safety within the work place, as well as assessing the risk of fire and electric shock. Continued periodic testing is a way of improving safety and reducing the risk of electric shock to the end user.

It is also an essential aspect of satisfying insurance requirements; many people do not realise that their insurance may be invalid if they do not possess a current periodic certificate.

Across Leamington Spa, Warwickshire and the entire West Midlands we provide a hassle free service tailored to your exact requirements. Out of hours work can be arranged to suit your needs to minimize any downtime.

We carry out free site surveys to determine the initial cost of our comprehensive report, the duration of the inspection and testing process and also the manner in which any work will be approached.

Once you site has been fully inspected and tested, your installation and fuse board details are entered on to our database enabling us to more efficiently work on your system.
